Opteron 165 Motherboard

Hello, I have an opteron 165 and was wondering what some good motherboards are out there that support this chip? Are there any consumer targeted boards (aka not expensive server boards) that come with the updated bios needed to run the opteron 165 already without having to swap chips for an upgrade? That would be great. Thank you.

while your at it Im about to order the 165, anyone running one with an EPOX 9NPA+ SLI? or know if they are compatible..

it's compatible. i don't know why you'd go for the SLI one though

check out the DFI Ultra board, Epox 9npa+ ultra, and ASUS A8N (i believe)

Will these work with the opteron 165 out o the box without having to flash the bios with another cpu? or nO?

Yup. But it is always recommended to flash the newest bios version.
