Opteron 148 Overclocking

I want to do mild overclocking on my Opteron 148 with Stock cooling but my case ahs good airflow and 5 80mm fans. So what should I set my volts and clock speed at?

You should trade me for my venice and let me overclock your 148.

Don't go over 1.50-1.55 volts on the chip, higher than that really won't get you much more speed and runs the risk of overvolting and dramatically shortening the chips life, the lower the better.

Use the A64 overclocking guide somewhere on these forums for best results.

Go here here for Zebo's overclocking guide.

People have been getting really good results with opterons at stock voltages so for a mild overclock you may not even need to raise the voltage.

Depending on the stepping you should get 2.7-2.9GHz on stock or near stock voltage. My 148 runs 2914MHz on 1.39V air cooling.
