Not sure a correlation can be drawn here but AMD zone has a comparison of some of the opterons versus a 3.2ghz P4 at http://www.amdzone.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=1329&page=4 I think you could probably compare the 144's performance versus the 3.2's as a scale for your comparison above.

Looks pretty close.If you want to see a blend of benchmarks that provides a better idea of the respective capabilities of each processor have a look here it shows just how effective the HT on the P4 can be at improving performance especially once you start multitasking.
