Just thought I'd share my first PC build in a few years ...

First the specs:

Opteron 1210 1.8GHz
ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe
MSI 8600GT
(3) Seagate 7200.10 500GB in RAID 5
(2) Viewsonic Optiquest Q20wb LCDs
(4) 1GB Corsair Dominator DDR2-1066
Tuniq Tower 120
Coolermaster Centurion 534 Case
Coolermaster Real Power Pro 650W
Lite-On DVDRW LH-20A1P DVD Burner

At first I was running 8GB of DDR2-800 and stock HSF, however I wasn't able to get beyond 2.5GHz stable.

Upon installing the Corsair Dominator and Tuniq Tower, I have the 1210 at 3.15GHz stable, and am getting about 13GB/s of memory bandwidth according to Sandra.

I'm seeing 38/37C idle temps on each core, and 57/58C load temps in Core Temp 0.95.4.

Here is a link to my cpu-z validation:cpuz

I'm running at 345x9, don't think I could push much higher even with water cooling ...

I may try lapping/removing the IHS and lapping the Tuniq Tower. Any ideas/suggestions for more speed would be appreciated :)

Otherwise, I'll just wait until AM2 quadcore drops.

um, a 75 % oc on an am2 system is great. you should be happy with that until phenom comes out.
