I am planning on using the Zalman CNPS7000-AlCu on my Intel 865PERL mb.
I see from the Zalman site that the fanmate2 controller goes inline between the fan and the motherboarb cpu fan vreg plug. Can you hook the fan up to the mb directly and have it control the fan speed? Or do you have to use the fanmate controller?
