Oprah to interview Palin

I know Palin is doing it to push her new book (which is at #4 on Amazon even though it's not even out yet), but I don't see much upside for her. Apart from the fact that Palin is an idiot herself, Oprah is an Obama cult follower, there's no way she's going to give Palin anything remotely resembling a fair interview. Can you say "hatchet job"?.

If I were Oprah, I'd just ask Palin questions about contemporary topics that require awareness of what's going on in the world plus some thought. Then I'd let Palin embarass herself with her display of ignorance and pap.

A good one (with appropriate follow-up questions), with lots of potential for Palin's self-destruction, would be, "What was your reaction to the announcement of Ardi, the 4.4-million year old hominid fossil with amazingly human-like features?"

Yeah, that's exactly the kind of stuff Oprah and her viewers are experts on, Ardi the hominid fossil. You make Palin look brilliant by comparison.
