Awesome! The player looks great on every meaningful level. I might have to pick one of these up and give my Samsung BD-P 2550 to my girlfriend.

I was wondering if Oppo was coming out with something new...I was set on buying a BDP-83 and it wasn't in stock at Amazon.

Harman needs to be ashamed. That and their HK receivers. The Revel and Crown lines can't hold their brand up single-handedly.

These are now shipping to folks who signed up for notification when they were first announced. I ordered one yesterday!

Here's hoping it supports streaming from PC as well, I will buy it in a second. Then I can move my PS3 from the living room to one of the bedrooms.

It sucks being in between locations right now...won't settle into a place until some time next year. At least I might be able to get a discount on the 93 by then? Or the 93SE will be out. :p

I've had my BDP-93 hooked up for a couple of weeks - what a great machine! I spent most of Saturday snowed in, watching a Breaking Bad marathon from episodes on USB drives. So far I haven't run into a codec format it doesn't support (these episodes were XviD). It also works great for blu ray and Netflix streaming, obviously. I don't have a 3DTV so I haven't had a chance to check that out.

Thanks for the update. Are you able to stream over LAN with PS3 Media Server or something similar?

Honestly I have no idea - I am almost exclusively a laptop user and don't have a working desktop, so I wouldn't really have occasion to use such a feature. I'm fairly certain it's supported, though.
