Oppinions of Raxco's PerfectDisk ?

I don't notice any speed improvement on my PC after using it.

I was using the freeware stuff mentionned in the software forum, and it does a good job.

I think this stuff is akin to modding a car. Sure you'll probably go a little fast and look a little tougher... but you're still only going from point A to point B.

I find the default Windows defragment program to work fine for my needs. I use the computer to play games mostly, some email, and web. I store my music and photos on the PC also. I defrag after I install a new game usually.. just to keep the newly installed files optimized on the hard drive.

Only if the mods you're talking about are stickers because you can't prove that a defragmenter makes a difference but when you replace car parts you know what kind of a difference in HP, torque, etc it's going to make.

PerfectDisk caused some problems with my laptop so I decided to use Diskkeeper Lite it works very well with less resource but I use Diskeeper 2007 Pro Premier on my PC it helps with MTF and pagefiles it gives pc some boost performance.
