To get the CPU I want for the Mac Pro I dont think I will be abel to afford there

Talking to Dell there recomended this 24 inch Monitor

I will be doing photo editing and video editing on the Mac. while Play some games on the win7 Partion I will have when I have the time I have never had a good Monitor before and I need somthing that can stand up with a lot of use for years to come.

If you have a opinon or now much about pleas let me no.

I use the 2408WFP. It's a good monitor, but not the best. The S-PVA panel is leaps and bounds ahead of cheap TN panels as far as color accuracy is concerned, but it's still lacking compared to IPS.

Consider this HP H-IPS panel: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16824176104. It should have all the pros of the Dell without any of the cons.

Dell has a new 24" coming out in the next couple months, the U2410. It uses the same panel as the HP with a few additional professional features. It is thought that it will be priced around $500, but nobody knows for sure. I'd wait for that to come out and weigh it against the HP.
