Okay, here's the deal. I've narrowed it down to two cheap digital cameras to hold me over until I can afford a nice one. I'm not sure which one to get, because neither one has everything and they've both got some stuff unique to themselves.

Links:
DXGUSA DXG-308 - $75

VuPoint DC-C310-VP - $90

I've only heard of DXG before so anyone who owns or has seen the VuPoint, please contribute. Thanks guys.

Get the $75 one since you're just holding out and you'll save 15 bucks this way.

Anubis - I always manage to spend money on stuff so even when I save 200 or so it eventually goes to waste on stuff. I figure if I do save for a while though I can get about 300 for the nice camera, ask my parents for some of the money as a gift, then buy a nice one and either pawn this one or keep it as a backup.

Mo0o - I was thinking about it that way too, also because it seems to have a better shutter speed (no exact speed is known for the $90 one). Only thing is, the other one is 6 MP

Seems like that one is only 6MP "software enhanced". I'm not sure what that means but just remember you get what you pay for.

The number of megapixels matters far less than the quality. I'd rather have 3 million nice pixels than 6 million crappy ones. :)

Neither.

I'd get this.

Budget for this one is 100.

Thats why he suggested a camera that will run you ~83 bucks at the end

Heh... you appear to be correct. However I don't have a Discover card nor does anyone in my family so I wouldn't get that 10%. I think what I may do is just wait several weeks then ask for some cash as a bday present.
