I like Ericsson's and Motorola's.
The Timeport(Motorola)
Pros
Tri band, good reception, fast menu system, the only bad thing is that the menu system is sorta messy, nothing you wont get used to though.
Sound is excellent.
And it also looks pretty good
Cons
Sorta big if you're used to say a T28.
Messy menu system.
My current phone is a T28(Ericsson) which Im also very happy with.
Pros
Good design, very good meny system, small and light, voice call if you like that, very good headset.
Cons
Short battery life(though it evens out a bit since it's battery doesnt drain as much as most other when talking, so the more you talk, the less you'll notice this), the menu system is sorta slow, though not horribly so.
Phones I hated:
Ericsson G688, old, and by todays standards it sucks, but again, its old, very old
Nokia 3210
Argh, worst of the phones Ive used by far.
Short battery life(supposed to be 260 hours, dont know how they count though, cause I could rarely squeeze more than like 2-3 days out of it with moderate use).
Heavy, dont know the exact weight, but too much for my taste.
No special features(like voice dial, triband, etc), its a phone, no more.
Basically, it sucked.
Have several friends with the 8210(or 8610 or whatever it was in the US

), some like it, some dont.
I have one friend who certainly doesnt like it, he's had it replaced 3 times now, its malfunctioned in various ways.
