opinions wanted on a 2006 Honda CBR 600, what are your thoughts?

10k miles for about 4.5k to 5k. I know bikes from yamaha, kawa, susuki, etc all seem to get great feedback, are hondas at the top of this pecking order?

This is going to be your main problem with buying a used 06 Honda when this was available:

And the above sale is also fairly common with the CBR 1000. If you search the slickdeal archives, it was similar the previous year.

I wouldn't pay 5k for a four year old bike with 10k miles when I can get a brand new (albeit one that sat for awhile) with 0 miles for 2k more.

Not only that, you can sell the CBR1000 in a few years for nearly the same amount you paid. Go now to cycletrader and look at the 2008 CBR1000 (used). This is one of the few bikes (outside of the Ninja 250r) that you can make money flipping.

get a brand new ninja250 or GS500 if you want a sporty first bike
