Opinions Wanted for Upgrade

When I built the following system I told myself I'd upgrade a component or two in a few years, and buy/build a new system in 5 years. Well after reinstalling EQ2 I've decided now is the time to try and get an additional 15-20 FPS out of the rig.

6800 AGP (vanilla, unlocked)
A64 3000+ 939 (k8t800)
1GB DDR400

First, I really don't care to have the latest and greatest. I know my rig blows. I'm only interested in squeezing out a bit more FPS on current graphic settings.

At first my hunch was that I should upgrade the video card to a 7600GT. Then I remembered I had unlocked my 6800, so I'm hoping someone can comment on how much of an improvement a 7600GT would be over my unlocked 6800. Would it be worth the $150?

Then last night I overclocked my 3000+ just a tad, raising the "CPU Clock" setting in my BIOS from 200 to 205. My FPS went up 6-7. Not a ton, but I'm hoping the overclock I did was very small in comparison to just putting in a 4000+. And in relation to a 4000+, on newegg they are listed as having a 2000Mhz FSB, whereas my mobo is stated as having a 1000Mhz FSB. Would the 4000+ even work in my mobo?

So now I'm unsure of what to do. Do you all think I'd gain more from a video card, keeping the same CPU? Or would I benefit from a new CPU, keeping the vid card. In the end, regardless of which one I upgrade, if the increase isn't enough to satisfy me I'll upgrade the other as well.

Thanks for any input you all can provide!
