Opinions/Recommendations for a GTS

Hello everyone,
Out of the GeForce2 GTS card, which one would you deem is best, in terms of performance etc.. I was thinking of going with a Creative Labs Annihilator 2, any opinons would be great.

Yes. CLAP2 would be the best choice if you don't need TV out and a game bundle. It's a great card and one of the cheapest and Creative Labs always delivers.


Remember get the GTS if your cpu is powerful enough. On a PII 450 it will not be fast. If you have a PIII 600 or higher than it's a good upgrade otherwise save your money for the processor.

Leadtek has a good price if you don't want to spend all that much money.

buy whatever is cheapest (all the boards are based on the reference design except the prophet II), but think twice if its a 32mb prophet II.

honestly - despite what people say - the clap2, the gladiac, the leadtek, etc. etc. are all reference boards, and for good reason - so buy the cheapest one, unless you have money to burn.

The leadtek is better than creative. Its just as cheap or cheaper, has tv-out and has an oversized heatsink.
