So, i went ahead and ordered a Dell Latitude D520 for the price, performance and supposed quality of the Latitude line.

It's currently in the "production process" so i have a few days till i can cancel.

Any opinions of this lappy would be greatly appreciated, thanks 😀
 
i have the inspiron 1501 and even though i was a little thrown off by its larger size then a 14" ibm notebook, its been EXCELLENT all around. the latitude series is better, so i would have to believe you will enjoy your machine very much. im actually surprised how well made this 'value line' laptop is made...
 
it shouldn't be bad. i know the d620 is very good but idk if the d520 will be as good, it being the "budget" model for the latitude series. i don't think you'll be disappointed
 
you'll be just fine. the 2007 models are two times nicer than the 2006 models, budget user-wise.
