I'm looking at switch from Sprint to probably Verizon. How is verizon's vcast service, especially on an enV? Any info is appreciated.
I would just use it to read some news, weather, get phone numbers from switchboard.com, etc.

I use the V (would really like the EnV, smaller footprint), and I love the Vcast service/mobile web. I text a LOT too, and that phone kicks ass for that. Can't use a regular keypad anymore, I'm spoiled!

one thing I don't like about the V or phones like it, it's almost impossible for me to text with one hand. I love having a small keyboard as opposed to a keypad, but I like to text one handed. Probably people with bigger hands don't have this problem. I was about to get a V but I ended up going with the Q, it has full internet, I can text with one hand, and the screen is bigger. It doesn't have Vcast, but aside from a couple cool games I had on my old e815, I don't miss Vcast at all. The V/NV are great phones if you don't mind using both hands.

Well, if you're used to one handed text as you'd do with a regular keypad you can just close the phone and use the front keypad.

I actually have used mine one handed open, but I have to turn it sideways. It took me some time to "rememorize" the keyboard layout that way but I can text like that without looking at the letter s now.

I gots mad skills!
