I saw this at BB today and am pretty impressed. It seems pretty clear and you can adjust the brightness with a botton on the front.

However, i would like to hear from someone who has experience with it. I would like to know about text clarity and any color problems or watnot.

I would only find one review on this, and it seems that they gave it a 3 out of 5 because they said it was average, with a problem with the color on the left side and low refresh rates (I believe it was 80hz 10x7, 75 12x10 *which i would probably never go above* and 60hz for anything higher).

However, i would like some more imput on this!

EDIT: BTW, if this isnt good, are there any recommended 17-19" CRT's available for around this price?
 
My brother has one and it's not very sharp.

It may look good in the store, but give it 6 months and it will be blurry. It also doesn't have a very true black, more like an LCDs black.

If you do get it don't run it on superbright anymore than you have to, they wear out faster using it.
 
ok, i'll guess i'll forget it then...

anyways, after some more thought, i may get a 12ms response time 17" LCD. Any recommendations there?
