I am not sure what series it is, but I just tore apart a Sony laptop that was ran over by a car. Seriously though, other than the damage done the laptop seems to be made well. The part that impressed me was the metallic coating on the insides of the plastics. I haven't gotten into many other brands, but Toshiba is the only other one that does this (EMI). All others just put some thin copper colored shielding that always has gaps. The plastic felt sturdy too, just like Toshiba's. From a service standpoint the machine is nice, not too hard to open but still sturdy. The numbers on the bottom were PCG-991L, couldn't find it on the website.
