Opinions on the Samsung SyncMaster 170T

I have been searching around for quite some time for a good deal on a flat panel lcd monitor. I just saw a deal for a new Samsung SyncMaster 170T monitor for $555, and I would just like to get a second opinion. For those of you who are interested the specifications for the 170T are here:

Ok...but whats the difference between the two models? Also, my budget will only allow me to get something within the range of 500-600 dollars. If anyone knows a 172T that's within this range I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me the heads up.

newer generation panel, thin bezel, higher contrast ratio, higher brightness.

Since this is a replacement for 170T, list price is the same. Some place may be clearing out old models so you see 170T being cheaper.

If you don't need DVI, you could consider 172B, just save few bucks.
