Opinions on the Kodak DX3500??

I'm looking to purchase a decent digital camera for around $200-$300. The only real use for this camera will be to take some pictures here at college and put them up on the web for my friends and family to see. In looking for such a camera, I came across the Kodak DX3500 for $249 at buy.com. Here's a link:

The camera looks to have a decent (2.2MP) resolution for what I need it for. Does anyone have any experience with this camera or with Kodak's in particular? I just want a camera with good image quality and a good reputation; I don't need any special features like taking movies or photo editing or anything like that.
