Opinions on Sony MDR-V700DJ headphones

I originally bought some wireless RCA headphones at Best Buy for $70 and boy did they ever suck. There was a large amount of distortion and high tones would cancel out a lot of the low tones. I returned them and decided to get some higher quality wired headphones. I bought the Sony MDR-V700DJs for $150. They seem great to me! No line noise or distortion and the high sounds don't cut out the low sounds. Anyone have experience with these?

I had those for a while before switching the Sennheiser HD590s. I thought the V700s were a little more forward than I preferred and the comfort-level wasn't to my liking as it rested on the ears and put a lot of pressure over them rather than over-the-ear headphones.
