I recently picked up 100 PNY CD-R Discs for $14.95 at Best Buy. They are marked as 1x-12x compatible-700MB/80min. Are these quality discs. I ask because I burned one copy of the game Odium which when I try to install a message pops up and states can't find one of the files on the Disc. Could be a different problem which I can figure out but I wanted opinions on the Discs. I am using the HP9110i burner. Thanks.

i dunno about your particular problem but PNY discs have always been good for me. you sure you got all the files onto the cd when you copied it?

I'm not sure about their quality. With two different burners (Acer 8432 and TDK 12/10/32) I would get "unexpected errors" in Nero about 1 in 5 times. Other media seems better behaved. Not sure if it's the media, but it's a factor.

Game copying is another thing. I don't have anything in the CloneCD DB to say what the protections are. Will other media copy? Many non-l337 burners can't read and write the RAW data necessary for succesful copying. What software are you using?
