I know they are argueably the best pc speakers for music, and I don't really have the cash for a set of klipsch. So my question is, how's the performance for other purposes? Previously I used a set of creative 4.1s but I don't have the space for surround sound any more.

I live in a college dorm so I use PC speakers when watching DVDs. I also game a bit, but I use a pair of sennheiser headphones when playing anything with really high quality sound. Are these still at least decent for gaming?
