Soon the new evga 8800 gtx Superclocked with ACS3 will hit market. My question is is it safe to get this card instead of standard one that has speeds like nividia made chipset as standard? What do you think about this trend that some graphic makers are creating those OC cards right out of the box in name of stability etc?

Evga has lifetime warranty if you register your card. So i wouldn't worry about getting one of theirs.

On the other hand, you can probably just get a regular 8800gtx for cheaper and overclock it on your own. EVGA's warranty covers overclocking.

As far as heat goes, the faster clocked the card the more heat it will generate, but with the better ACS3 cooling the chips on the card will be cooler (still will generate more heat) then non acs3 cooling.

I hope that helped.
