OK so I'm not happy with my eVGA & E3 Venice 3200+. Here's what I'm thinking:

Opty 170
DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra (Can't justify $50 more for SLI :roll;)

Already got:

NeoPower 550HE
2x512MB Corsair XMS 3200C2
XP-90

I know the Corsair doesn't work the best with DFI, but I'm fine running a divider for now. I'll get some nice 2x1GB later.

The only other mobo I really considered is the Abit AN8-SLI (or is it A8N, LOL). But the SATA connectors are less ideal since I use short cables and I'd rather have OC capability than SLI.

Thoughts? TIA

good choice on the ultra. it can easily be modded to sli anyway! :) if you want to go cheaper, you can get the nf4-d (non-ultra). only difference between the two boards is one gigalan. other than that, both boards are moddable to sli-d boards (on the nf4-d board you have to do the sataII mod which is pretty easy as well).

as for psu, i'd recommend the ocz powerstream but i think the antec neopower (is this right) should be okay as well.

for ram, the corsair looks fine. the only corsair i've heard the dfi have a problem with is the value stuff.

You can still mod the Ultra boards? :D :D :D I'd heard they were "stopping" that

I think that's the way to go then!

Anyone have other thoughts?
