Hey Guys

Getting an upgrade early next week. Just wondering if I could get a few opinions. It's a budget jobbie and the prices are in Australia, so half for US prices, and if they seem high, it's cos we get ripped off down here 🙂

MSI K7T-Turbo 2 (6330-V5) $170
AMD Duron 900MHz $100
CoolerMaster Fan $12
128MB Hyundai PC133 $65
Velta 4305 Case w/ 300W PS $50
Eagle Geforce2 TI 64MB DDR with TV-Out $220

Only getting 128MB cos my old rig still has 192 in it, i'll put that in here
Going KT133A chipset, cos I can use my old memory and it's about $50 dollars less for the mainboard (bearing in mind this is on a budget 🙂
Is is worth spending the extra couple of hundre bucks and getting a DDR board? Will I notice the performance increase. Highest res is 1024x768, playing CS, DOD 2.0 (that ones the reason for the upgrade).

Any options I can change. I'm in Australia, so fancy cases etc are very limited, and these prices are wholesale (yes, over here things are VERY expensive!)

Thanks guys, any input appreciated!

immigrate? 😉

It looks ok..I would get the epox or Iwill KT133a mobo instead of the MSI one.

The place I'm ordering from doesn't stock those ones. In terms of perfomance/features etc, how much better are they? More stable?

Thanks guys

Please note, if you HALVE the prices I've quoted, you'll get the approx. US prices.
