Opinions on Media Storage?

I currently own this Atlantic 250-CD tower, and I must say that it is a piece of crap. As a result, I'm in the market for something a little better.

I am looking for a storage solution that:

* Holds approximately 200 to 250 CDs.
* Stands up against a wall with a relatively small footprint. However, it should not be able to be tipped over.
* Looks nice.
* Is relatively cheap (ideally no more than $50 or $75).

Is there anything out there that could suit my needs? What do people here use?

I have a 600+ CD rack and it's pretty sturdy. Anything can be pulled over with enough force. Maybe something like those media drawers would be better for you. How about a rack that's like a book shelf. You could screw it to the wall studs.

Yes, something like a book case would be nice. It's going to sit on carpet, so the larger the actual area of contact with the floor, the better. I just don't want it to tip over on its own. This actually happened to me with my current storage rack. I had my back to it (at my computer) when it happened, so it scared the crap out of me. My cat literally freaked out! 😀
