Opinions on K-Byte ram?

Well most people know about the Best Buy Thanksgiving sale and $9 for 256MB PC133 ram seems too good to be true. So I would like to hear some opinions on them. I know that generic ram can be the worst of things and thats what I'm afraid of because I never heard of K-Byte until now. Thanks!

Most generic RAM works fine. Just don't expect it to overclock well, or at all. Then again, some people get lucky and get generic stuff that OC's great.

I did some research and seems that K-Byte is a division of Reptron or something to the like. I play on OC'ing my dual P3 700mhz to 933mhz so this is why I am a bit nervous about buying this ram. As far as I know, it seems generic to me. Thanks for all the input guys... you rock!

If you are overclocking your P3 700 to 933 it should work fine since you will still be operating within the specifications of the memory. When you overclock you will be running at 133 FSB which is the same speed as your memory. The only trouble you may run into is going much over 133 MHz for the FSB.
