I might purchase a gaming laptop for about $1,200. Something mid-range without breaking the bank.

What are your opinions on this company? Do they make decent computers or are they cheaply made?

Thanks.

For about $1k you can get 750M SLI, whereas $1200 will only get you a single 750M if you buy from ibuypower.com

Here are my recommendations I posted yesterday in another thread:

CyberpowerPC Fangbook Evo HX6-110 Intel Core i7 4700MQ(2.40GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD 15.6" Notebook Windows 8.1

or

Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p (59388313) Intel Core i7 4700MQ(2.40GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB + 8GB SSHD Hybrid Drive 15.6" Notebook Windows 8

Personally, I would go for the CyberpowerPC because it has a single GPU which is almost as powerful as the dual GPU setup on the Lenovo. That way you don't have to worry about SLI scaling.

Here is an MSI GTX 765M laptop for $50 more:

I have owned two desktops from Ibuypower, a desktop plus a month-old Fangbook laptop. I have never one time had to contact either company with a problem. They sell good, high quality PCs that, in my experience, work perfectly out of the box. What I like best is the many choices and options available and both are quick to answer even the simplest question. I can't speak to customer service because I never had need, but I'm sure they would not have disappointed. I someone wants a "custom" rig without building it themselves, then these two boutique builders will not disappoint.
