Alright so I'm pretty much set on changing my major from business to something else. Two majors i'm looking into are possibly Economics and Communications. What are some general opinions on this? Careers that can spawn from this? Any info would be sweet.

if you're good at Econ/Math, do Econ. I'll put it to you like this, the President of my current company...when I told him I was a communications major....asked "What's communications" :-D

You may wanna try Finance instead of Economics, if you are interested that is. In my limited experience, you really need to have an advanced degree in Economics (masters, ph.d) to do what Economists do. No idea about communications.

I'm open to suggestions. I just need to make enough money until I can move to Hawaii and become a Scuba Dive Instructor.

Econ is ok. Communications is total waste of time and money.

Sounds like you need to put college on hold and figure out what you want to do.

If you go for an undergraduate in economics expect to go for a masters or go back for another degree.

I'm in my 3rd year of economics, i'm going back for a business degree after this.

edit: keep in mind I have no minor, I'm taking business courses along the way, so I'll go right into 3rd year business.
