Opinions on gaming-capable laptop?

I'm looking to get a laptop that can run relatively new games on it pretty well, but I want it to be portable and not a desktop replacement. I've got a budget of about $1500 or so (although the cheaper the better) and I've come across the following three:

Option 1: Alienware M11x, i5 520UM (1.066-1.866GHz), 4GB RAM, 500GB 7,200RPM HD, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M

Option 2: Sager NP8690, i5 460M (2.53-2.80 GHz), 4GB RAM, 500GB 7200rpm HD, 1.5 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX460M

Option 3: HP Envy 14, i5 460M (2.53-2.80 GHz), 4GB RAM, 500GB 7200rpm HD, 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650.

I'm a little cautious about the AW, because the specs seem low to me, the Sager is barely portable and has a pretty bad battery (45 minutes....), and I know nothing about the Envy. Any others I should consider? Any of the above worth going for?

If it were me I'd go with the Sager. Make sure you buy it from a vendor though like, XoticPC, PCTorque, etc., You'll get better customer service from sale to any problems you may encounter post buy. Sager itself doesn't have the best customer service although they make a good product.

Edit: Sandy Bridge releases January 9th. Probably best to wait and see what that does to pricing. New models will also hit the street soon after.

Options 1&3 are not gaming laptops. I had a laptop with a 5650 in it, the 5650 is even a little better than the 335 in the m11x, and it blows for playing games. $1500 is about right for a gamer. I have this laptop and I'm playing fallout new Vegas @1080p with high settings and it's smooth. I think they are clearing them out for the new models but specs are insane for the money. 5850, beautiful 1080p screen, i7 processor, blu ray player and great build quality $1200 free shipping.
