I'm really interested in the aesthetics of cases...My old case is this pos beige thing which is ugly, doesn't line up with drives...can only install drives in certain places b/c it'll hit mobo or video card or fan...not enough room...list goes on.

I don't like how all the cases like antec and the chieftech ones look exactly the same, and even the more "out there" ones I don't really like the designs at all...I need something that's tasteful and yet decko...if you sorta get my drift?

Personally, the wavemaster is one of the few cases which I like the looks of. It has size as well, which would be nice to fit my 4 hardrives, 2 optical.

I also need a quiet case/setup b/c I'm going to college and don't want my roomates to kill me from the noise my pc makes and from the heat it generates. I'm interested in led/cathode type "mods," but I don't think I could cut-up the coolermaster, I'd be a little afraid :D, unless you can buy some replacement doors or something?...I dunno :0.

well, any advice or recommendations would be great : P, as well as your opinion of the tac-t01 wavemaster, which is the case I'm looking at atm.

The sound insulation mashed into Lian-Li's rebuttal to Antec's Sonata actually works, and while I'm too dumb to be able to give you any numbers, I've heard it works quite well. Lian-Li's site description of the case can be found here, and I had a review but lost it somewhere.

Stuf all the heat you want into it, then pipe it out quietly, keep it from vibrating (HDD cooler beds if you can), passive cooling to replace any stock (video/cpu) fans, and you have a near-silent machine, cooler than it was before. Can't tell you how much the case costs, but it's a friggin' work of art, they claim 'Promotion', so prices should be dropping. Remember a good case can last ten PCs. Take care.

Eh, sorry about that, the code seems to have tripped a little.

MODERATORS, bitte sehr incinerate this and the two almost-blank posts, pretty please...

I love my coolermaster, but keep in mind that the wavemaster has a door. This doesn't bother everyone, but it really got to me. I had a door on my last case and I could only stand it for 3 months before replacing it.
