If you can handle a 2.1mpx camera, also consider the Canon PS S300 or A20. If you can save $800 and can handle a slightly larger camera, get the G1.

PROS:
Build Quality/Design
Compactness
Features: Image Modes, Manual Features, Flash Modes, Stitch Assist
Image Quality
Accepts CF-II/Microdrive
USB connection

CONS:
Proprietary batteries/DK110 kit is a must at $75
Flash can be somewhat weak in large, low-lit rooms
Auto White Balance is too contrasty in bright light
