Opinions on AV?

Bitdefender Free and malwarebytes Anti-exploit. I wouldn't trust M$. I mean that crap MSE is laughable! People use it as a top tier anti-virus yet M$ themselves says it's only a baseline scanner. Why use it in the first place?

Ditto! that's what I'm using right now! Bitdefender Free is the only free AV that has no ads or annoying popups or bundled toolbars and has a great detection rate!

I also use MBAM Pro on the side like you just for the extra piece of mind!

MSE / Windows Defender is just a disguised NO AV to make the notification icon in the system tray to not tell you that you are without protection but it's as good as using no AV
