opinions on Acer V771 - 17" CRT Monitor ?

Looks like an OK monitor to me, the specs are not spectacular, but about right for its price. I'd look into something else if you want better display quality, such as flat screen and smaller dot pitch.

IMHO

Ideally you want a dot pitch of .25mm for graphics progs and gaming.
