6800CORE and 6800GT CORE is nothing for you?? And they are clocked the SAME. If you are seduced by Gamer Edition name it's not their or our problem.

From the links you post. The 6800GE is clocked higher then the 6800GT. but the 6800GE is not better because it only has 12 pixel pipelines. So that's the point I was trying to get across. I didn't think it would lead to senseless flaming. It's a good thing you got the V9999GT instead of the V9999GE.

It is not clocked higher, please read carefully. They are clocked the exact same. GT 128mb version is downclocked in memory, 256mb version and GE have the exact same clock speeds.

It is the best 6800 out there (twice as much memory tahn others and faster), nothing else. I would never buy a GE anyway.Price is high as with other Asus products but it is well worth the money IMO

IMO i dont rate BFG, never heard of in UK till 6800 range and read lots of probs and lack of paste under cooler that peeps removed to stick on after market ones, i will stick to Chaintech, the Asians make good kit.

Also claiming 10% oc on core is misleading as nvidia just said a ultra has to ahve at least 400/1000, not has to have or any more is a suto o/c model, the Nvidia UK PR Manager also added what we read on web about it was to fool ATI with the speeds then later release 400-425/1100 models.

There are a few good manus out there selling 425/1100 ultras not marking them as o/c 10% cause they really arent.

To top it up Nvidia also added a Ultra Extreme would have be at least 450/1200, which is easy to reach on most ultra with no bios mods, i go beyond that anyhow not got clue if all can.
