Opinions on 17" LCD monitor Please?

I'm thinking of buying CTX PV722E 17" LCD monitor from NewEgg.com for $409. This monitor has DVI, built in speakers, head phone jack and USB 2.0. I kind of like these add-ons, especially with the fact that I don't have front USB ports.

I didn't find much feedback on this monitor anywhere.I need this everyday use - browsing, office, photos, occasional video. No gaming.

Buy a name brand monitor, don't buy that one.

you might find all that integrated stuff a waste too
btw you can pick up a phiilips crt 17" monitor that can do 1600x1200 from newegg for 100 bucks

i hate the lcd prices
if you wanna spend over 400 bucks try to get a 20" or better crt

i hope lcd prices drop soon

CTX is a brand name. They're not as big here, but they're much bigger in Europe and Asia.

If you like the features, go for it. I don't think you can go wrong with that model.
