Okay here's the thing I need a motherboard right now its for a Celeron II that can run at 926 mhz (600 not overclocked). Now I have the choice of going with an Asus CubX-L or an Asus Cusl2-C.

I'm not a fan of the I815EP chipset as I like the i440bx but in this situation I just can't decide. Reason why I cant decide is because I'd really rather wait till the summer then buy a FAST athlon and new board but this is rather needed immediately currently I have an Abit Bh6 rev 1.01 latest bois and it doesn't like working with the new celeron II.

It worked relatively fine for a couple of months but now its starting random GPF's on any programs I run. Yes, windows has been installed FRESH but it still happens.

Suggestions?

dont see why you would have a problem with that board since i see alot of them paired with celeron 2's but I guess an abit with soft menu 3 would be fine. BE-6 ver. 2 seems to be standard but I did have a little trouble setting that one up. if you could find a BF-6 this board has been super stable for the past year with cel533a@800 and a rediculas amount of different drives and hardware being swapped through it. it was the first system i built and was very easy to work with. but once again if you are going to replace it with AMD in a couple months I would get any cheap slot 1 440bx board. which should include your BH-6

i have a celly2 566@850 on a Asus CUBX and i love this board. the Abit gives you a lot more FSB speed settings to choose from. the BX-133 came out after i bought my CUBX or i may have bought that instead , although im perfectly happy with the CUBX. if its speed you want , go with a BX chipset equipped board.

Hmm,

Lets see now its between the Abit Bx133, Asus Cubx-L, Asus Cusl2-C. Tough choice, but heres a break down as far as prices i've seen:

Asus Cubx-L less then $100
Abit BX133-Raid $110 - 140
Asus Cusl2-C $109 - $140

tough choice but just from looking at the numbers here it looks like Asus Cubx is in the lead.

p.s. would love to hear from anyone with a CUBX or CUBX-L or CUBX-E
