Opinions needed for dual boot.

I'm going to be formatting my hard drives this weekend. I have everything I need backed up onto dvd-rams. I am going to be installing Mandrake 9.0 and W2k. How big should i make the partitions for each one. I plan on using Mandrake for everything but gaming. In other words, chatting, surfing, programming, music, movies and such. I am formatting everything so I can use fat32 on my hd's so both Mandrake and w2k can read my files.

What order should I install them in? and how big should i make the boot partitions for each?

Any advice will be welcome.

First Install Win2k.

Then Defrag the HD

Now in your RIG info I see this:

(2x) Maxtor Atlas III 10krpm18.4gb U160 SCSI Drives
Maxtor 7200rpm 40gb

If you are using the Maxtor as the main HDD I'd toss 30 Gigs to Linux (unless you are going to rip movies...Then I'd give 38 gigs)

Then with the 2 remaining gigs install WIN2k.

Instasll your games on either of the SCSIs and you should be good to go.

But the order goes this:

Win2k
Defrag
Linux

I also have an 80gb for data storage too. I was thinking about putting the os' on the scsi drives though...is this good or bad?
