Anyone ever use COLD-fX? It's supposed to prevent and relieve colds and flus and I've heard a couple good things about it. It's something that Don Cherry endorses, so there's lots of ads with his endorsement going around.

I'm tempted to try it, but it costs double what normal cold medicine costs. I've been nursing a cold for the last week and it's not getting any better, so I thought I might give it a shot. Any opinions?
 
Placebo. Get more sleep and plenty of fluids and you'll kick it. Who cares who endorses it ... they get paid to shill anything. I wouldn't exactly hold Don Cherry up as a good example of high morale fiber anyway ... 😛
 
No, I never tried it. I use Zicam nasal gel at the first symptom of a cold.
Works VG. Once the cold virus gets a good toe-hold, it will run it's course.

I tried it in October when I had a nasty cold. I took Cold-Fx when the cold was just coming on as directed, but gave up on the stuff and switched to Advil Sinus and Cold medication after 2 weeks of suffering. (Pharmacist recommended I switch to the Advil). The Advil meds seemed to work better then the Cold-Fx.
