Opinions...AMD or Intel

Hello all,

I have my opinions based on what I know and what I read so I am looking to all of you for yours to help me solidify my decision.

I am looking to build a new machine for me at work and have narrowed it down to these two choices:

An Abit IC7G with a 2.4 (800 bus) and a gig of DDR (Mushkin Black Line)

Asus A7N8X Deluxe, Athlon XP 2800+ (333 bus) and a gig of DDR (Mushkin Black Line)

Do lots of Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Xpress, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, video capture and encoding, etc.

Chime in with your 2 cents.

Please delete your post as the AMD vs Intel: which to buy has been covered ad nauseum. Just use the search feature and read the billion threads on the issue and decide from there 😉
