Opinions about refurbished monitors

Got my refurbis Pansonic Panasync/Pro over 5 years ago, and it still funtion perfectly (it is my favorite monitor).

LuNoTiCK: Who backs that extended warranty? If it's not the factory it may not be worth anything.

One little side effect of MOST factory refurbished computer parts (not just monitors) is that they have to pass more stringent QA tests than a new part before they leave the factory.
