Opinion(s) Wanted: Best advertising text

ok, looking at this page, there is the "Buy Now!" text under the cover image. I have the following questions:

1) Do you think that is the best placement for the text?

2) Do you think the text of the link should be something else (it isn't truly a "buy now" link as it only searches for the title)? If so, what?

it is fine.

the location pf BUY NOW does not detract from the book info or cover pic, but is easy to find.

one suggestion... can you make it bold?

I say this as a die hard shopper!

🙂

Try out different texts. Perhaps something that does not look so jagged. I don't have any recomendations though, sorry.

Jagged? How so?

Maybe jagged was a bad choice, hmm...(I'm just saying it how I see it, this could very well be the epitomy of web design so take what I say with a grain salt :/), but perhaps something more smooth. The letters look like staircases.

nm, it looks fine. 😛

ah, ok. The point of that text block over there is to be unobtrudive but a natural place for the eye to settle.

I agree that is probably the best place to have it. I just think you may find better results if you play around with the font. FONT, why didn't I say that earlier. I'm going to exit this thread now, disregard everything I have said. 😀
