Opinion on these 3 cases/psu's

for case look i into a lian li (any) if you can afford it, if not get a chenming/cheiftech (602/dragon) and PSU get a forton blue storm 500W from ewiz
 
Thanks, Mucker 🙂. I'm looking to build a budget gaming system, so I don't want to spend a lot of money on a psu, given that there are a lot of cheaper ones available. I am not very sure about the quality of these units though.

I'm looking at amd 3000+ 1 or 2 gigs of ram, new hd (not sure whether sata or ide) based on socket 939.
 
The Antec Mucker Linked to is good but 500 watts is completely unnecessary, and not a particularly good deal.

This InWin is one of the best cases I've used. The PSU is built by Forton and should be enough for what you plan on running.

I wouldn't hesitate to spend $46 more on Antec quality. The $116 shipped TX1050b includes an SP-II 500W, modular that is going for about $74 shipped. $116 -$74 = $42 for a high quality case which I'd have to say is a pretty darn good deal.

Both are nice but I actually like the InWin a bit more as far as the cases go.

Both have good quality PSU's but why pay for a 500 watt PSU when you won't even be able to use half of it's power?
 
For a budget case, Id recommend the Antec SLK3000B. Cheap and excellent quality. Bought one myself on recommendation of Anandtech users.

For power supply, this isnt my area. Most people will overstate what you need as they generally upgrade and adapt their systems quite regularly. They will buy a bigger PSU than they need in anticipation for increased power usage with their next upgrade.

Depening on graphics card, hdds/optical drives and the possible use of SLI, Id probably be looking at a quality 430W or higher. If you arent going to be using many hdd's or a power hungry graphics card, a quality 350W would suffice imo.
