I am looking at purchasing a Q87 chipset motherboard. Why? I like that this platform has all the features I want and none that I don't. For what I use my device for, overclocking has no benefits. I value reliability and stability most.
I was looking at the Supermicro X10SLQ or the Gigabyte GA-Q87M-MK.
I would like to use the forums as my own personal sanity check. Please give me your opinions on whether I am mistaken to think that buying either of these is a good idea. I was also wondering if anyone had any info on the Supermicro boards. The one above is almost twice the price of the gigabyte, do think that is worth it?
Thanks.
