opinion on coolermaster aerogate III?

I have two of these, and they are really nice fan controllers/temp monitors. They are capable of shutting down a connected fan completely, and support a pretty decent amount of wattage per channel.

It uses a mini molex (FDD connector) for power, but does come with a standard 4-pin molex-to-mini-molex converter. Also comes with four three-pin fan header extensions and four long thermal probes.

The display is LCD- not excessively bright, which is a plus at night. Takes a few minutes to figure out the controls, and after that, it is extremely easy to use. Construction is solid too. The only downside is that you have to control fan speed using a push-button instead of a knob. which is a little less convenient. This also means that for fans that do not support RPM monitoring, you have to adjust speed by feel/sound. The controller does beep when you hit max and min speed, though, so that provides a frame of reference. Fan voltage goes in pretty gradual steps.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Aerogate III- especially at the price SVC has been selling them for.

The AG3 is a decent controller - cost nearly $40. when they first hit the market. At only $8.00, they're a steal. They were partly made because the AG1 (and maybe the AG2 as well) couldn't fit behind the WaveMaster's door without being recessed. There are reviews around on the fanboy sites.
