Hey guys and gals!

This is my first post, whoo. I have been lurking for sometime, so it is good to finally speak with you all. My question is what is your opinion on the best online dvd rental serive. I hear Netflix slows down after you rent alot. I am a huge movie buff, so I would get about 15 a month, mabey 20. I hear www.rent-a-flic.com is pretty good. You get a solid 12-15 average movies a month with a 3 day turnaround (1-3 depending on where you live). You can notify them when your done so they ship the next one out as you ship yours back. Thier customer serive is excellent too. I have heard about DVDBarn as well. Arg, lol, so many choices and reviews! Which do you perfer, and can you give me some insight on your experiences if you have any? Thanks! I appreciate your time and wisdom.

welcome!

i used netflix, and they seem to be good, but i don't have experience with renting a lot of movies. however, i don't think that they would slow down, especially because it's your money and they don't want to lose you as a customer, especially in the blockbuster battle.

I have tried netflix and BB lately both. Prices are similar - I can't quite remember which is best. Netflix has a better selection. However, both were responsive and a big bonus for BB is that each month you get two free in-store rentals. For me that would make BB a superior solution, but if you want some very hard to find movies you will get better results from NF.

I tried Walmart 18 months ago and nearly killed myself over how bad it is.

i use netflix and i think it's great. i've used netflix, blockbuster, and walmart online rentals. netflix has the fastest turnaround and best selection. walmart and blockbuster are extremely slow turnover time.

I've tried netflix, blockbuster and walmart. Netflix was way faster but they're close to me. The only reason I cancelled Netflix is because I was running out of movies that I wanted to see and they started to get slow because I rented too much.

Ah, I heard stories of slower turnaround if you rented alot. I will probably give them a try, though.
