Wondering about the AGP 32 meg 2000. Is it a decent card for a low level game and office type set up? Will be running an T-BIRD 1g with 256 ram on an ASUS A7V133 board. Opinions??

It's not a bad card in most respects. It has very good hardware support dvd playback, it does have 32megs of ram. It's so, so for games though. The chip on it compares to the original tnt level gaming. If you couldn't care less about gaming, or just wanna play something like Lemming 2000, then go ahead and get it. Oh, the 2D is very good on the card. I messed around with this card a while, around the time it came out.

I used the Expert 2000 in my son's system. PIII 550@733, p3v4x, 256mb... It's not to bad. Although you may not be able to play quake3 at highest resolutions with acceptable framerates, it will play decently at 800x600. We also play NFS/PU, Motorcross2, NascarHeat, Combat Flight Sim2, Unreal Tournament and others. Well pleased for the $45 spent. If you do much gaming at all, go for a Radeon LE.
