Opinion of Emachines Laptops?

Emachines re-label laptops. The latest M6805/07 series are just relabelled Arima models , I think. A lot of company's use the standard Arima chassis. Same goes with the rest of their laptops, there based on another chassis, so best looking that up, and then doing a search on other laptops that use the same chassis for opinions.

Their top of the line A64 laptop with the Mobilty 9600 kicks ASS. My cousin bought one the day we visted them in San Bernadino and it plays UT2004+ perfectly.

Much better than the desktops, from what I've heard. As was mentioned above, they just resell generic laptops, so they're no better or worse than what you'd get from many other laptop retailers.

It had better! That's faster than my desktop!
