There's a rumor floating around that they might come back on Sirius. Would be cool if that's true since I am a Sirius subscriber 🙂

I really hope somebody picks them up; in my opinion, the airwaves have been dead since they left.
 
I miss some of their over the top bits and interviews. There's no question they were borderline inappropriate/obscene, but so is half the music on the radio these days (think rap/r&b songs about sex, etc...)

Exactly. I remember when they were first put on in DC a few years ago after Don & Mike moved to mornings...I was so pissed when they got kicked off the air.
 
i went to the thingie on friday night and he (anthony) dropped hints about every option possible.

edit:

he said
(paraphrased)
"let me give you an XMample of where we could be.
no, let me get sirius.
well...i can tell you there is a clear channel of communications opened
and we could be on anywhere from here to infinity."

he then said
"i dont F-ing know, talk to my agent. who might not know."

but i think he was just trying to quell us becuase opie never showed up.

he also said they werent really allowed to make any announcements until after their contract ran out at the end of the month.
i think they are having another concert/live show event like the one on friday for the official announcement.
anyway, i cant imagine them being on the radio the way things are now.
ive been listening to their SU feed (some dude took the time to link together every show in chronological order and play it 24 hours a day!) for the last few months and so many of those bits are impossible.
 
I always thought thay could be funny at times but they went way to far over the line in some of their subject matter for over the air radio at the time they were on. Eating human livers and having sex with monkey skulls thats not funny just gross.

I miss Ant's impressions the most... especially this one bit with Sylvester Stalone after some incident with a clear table, a woman and bowel movements 😉 I've never laughed so hard...

He also had the best OJ, Mike Tyson and Ronald Reagan I've ever heard.
 
When they were on WAAF here in Boston, I enjoyed every afternoon I could listen to them. They were what made 'AAF. Then they got teh boot and Rocko was on. He is now gone and they have some dimwit on now :roll:
